Welcome. I’m Deva ( DIVA), the artist behind Beautifully Focused Photography.

I’m a proud mother of five, a devoted wife, and someone who understands just how quickly time moves. The days are long, the years are short, and before we know it, the moments we once lived in become memories we long to revisit. That truth is at the heart of everything I create.

As a mother, I know the importance of preserving the milestones and the in between moments the quiet smiles, the laughter, the connections that deserve to be remembered long after this season has passed. My work is rooted in creating timeless, meaningful imagery that allows you to return to those moments again and again.

For many years, I poured into everyone else. I spent time as a stay at home mom, later transitioning into a business role, all while quietly searching for something that truly felt like mine. After months of reflection and growth, I picked up a camera I had always owned and saw it differently.

What began as curiosity quickly became purpose.

I invested in mentorship, learned to shoot manually, and said yes to my very first professional session a wedding offered by someone who believed in me before I fully believed in myself. That single “why not” moment changed everything. It showed me that I was capable of creating art that holds meaning, emotion, and legacy.

That moment led me here.

Whether I’m photographing families, seniors, or life’s meaningful milestones, my approach remains the same intentional, guided, and deeply personal. I focus on connection over perfection and timeless over trendy, ensuring your images feel just as beautiful years from now as they do today.

I believe photographs are meant to live beyond your phone. They deserve to be printed, displayed, and passed down. Images are one of the few ways we can freeze time, and nothing compares to flipping through an album years later and remembering exactly how it felt.
