For a long time, I was a stay-at-home mom, then transitioned into a business associate, with no clear idea of what my true passion was. After years of focusing on everyone else, I knew it was time for a big change in my life. As I explored different paths and went through months of therapy, something clicked (pun intended)! I picked up my camera, a device I’d always had on hand, and started taking pictures. 

I joined a mentor group that taught me how to use my camera in manual mode, and from there, everything fell into place. My very first professional shoot was a wedding—an opportunity I was offered by a stranger who asked if I could photograph their special day. At that point, I had only recently learned how to shoot manually, and it took all my strength to not turn the offer down. But after some convincing from the bride and her family, and a little push from my husband, I decided to take the leap and said, "Why not?" 

That "why not" moment changed everything. I realized I was more than capable of creating beautiful, timeless images for clients that they would cherish forever. And here I am today, doing what I love!

I’m a true FOODIE at heart! Eating is one of my superpowers, and I absolutely love it. Some of my favorite foods include pizza, tacos (seriously, what other food group covers all the categories of the food pyramid?), potato chips (especially the hot ones), dark chocolate, and a nice glass of iced tea. When I’m upset, food is my go-to comfort. I’ll eat and worry about the weight gain later—so if you happen to notice that I’ve gained a little (or a lot), just mind your business, lol!

I can’t stand when people keep all their photos on their phones. Hear me out—you didn’t invest in professional photos just to post them online. Images hold special meaning and are one of the few ways to freeze a moment in time. **Print them!** There are plenty of printing companies to choose from, and I can even help you with this through my service, but whatever you do—don’t let those photos live only on your phone. Pictures serve as reminders of what once was, and nothing beats flipping through a photo album years later and saying, “I remember this,” or having your child ask, “Is that what I looked like?” Whether it's with me or someone else, get them printed!

When I'm not capturing memories through my lens, you’ll likely find me exploring new places and soaking up the world’s beauty. I absolutely love taking vacations and traveling—it’s a way for me to recharge, find inspiration, and create unforgettable memories. Each adventure fuels my creativity, and I bring that passion for capturing life's moments into every session I do!
